Weekly Hours: 40.00

Salary Range: $20.00 - $29.50

Sign-On Bonus: $5000

Role Overview

The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate and resident-centered care to our long-term care residents. As an experienced caregiver, you will provide essential support and leadership within the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized nursing care and daily living assistance as per each resident's care plan.
• Assist in vital daily routines including bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs, and effectively communicate changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Ensure a clean and safe living environment through housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Promote engagement in wellness and recreational activities for residents.
• Assume a leading role in problem-solving and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not mandatory.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Commitment to ongoing education with a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education required annually.
• Ability to complete Restorative Nursing training within 6 months, if applicable.
