Family Medicine Physician

Position Summary: Eventus WholeHealth is dedicated to providing a comprehensive model of care to adults living in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Our team includes Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and essential support staff working collaboratively to enhance patient well-being.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver primary care services aligned with Eventus WholeHealth's protocols, adhering to family medicine and geriatric standards in long-term care settings.
• Review and authorize medication administration records (MARs) as required, and ensure timely communication on lab results and prescriptions following the company’s medication policies.
• Allocate time during each visit to adequately manage administrative duties and documentation.
• Collaborate with facility management to improve care systems, participating in care plan and quality assurance meetings as needed.
• Submit patient documentation and billing records consistently to Eventus WholeHealth in accordance with established schedules.
• Foster open and constructive communication with facility staff and administrators, providing necessary feedback regarding medications and care strategies.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare delivery regulations and maintaining professional conduct in all interactions.
• Protect patient confidentiality and maintain security in communication and documentation, complying with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding guidelines.

Qualifications/Education:

• Licensed MD or DO.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Long Term Care or Geriatric Care.
• AMDA certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
