Weekend Job Specifics

We are looking for a Weekend Family Support Specialist to work with the family unit as an integral part of our Building Healthy Families Team. As a Family Support Specialist, you get the opportunity to build relationships with families and speak into their lives all while engaging in activities in Red Mountain operated homes as well as in the community. You will implement treatment plans, work on behavioral health goals, teach life skills, promote healthy family skills, provide a safe and structured environment, all while making fun memories together.

Work in the community and in RMBHS homes
Operate on a Friday - Monday schedule, depending on the needs of the program.
Provide services for clients such as life skill development, family counseling, and family support.
Plan and implement enjoyable and therapeutic activities for clients taking in to account budget, age, and gender.
Provide a safe, positive experience for families over the course of a weekend; accurately document multiple aspects of the weekend; complete all required tasks.
Help families with basic needs by transporting families to and from home in rural and urban areas (in company car)

Schedule : Generally this is a Friday through Monday full time shift. Friday - 10 hours, Saturday - 14 hours, Sunday - 8 hours, Monday - 8 hours.

Location : Our office is in Gilbert.

Requirements:

An accredited high school diploma or GED equivalency

A valid driver's license with no legal restrictions

An Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, or the ability to attain one

A passion for working with families and the ability to work on a team
