Job Title: FEMA - Program Delivery Coordinator

Employment Type: Temporary

Travel: 100% Domestic

Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Program Delivery Coordinator with FEMA, where your contributions will directly impact disaster recovery efforts across the nation. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about helping communities recover and thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, coordinate, and review applicant data to assess eligibility and prioritize assignments including auditing for completeness.
  • Conduct exploratory calls to gather information from applicants about their projects and recovery priorities.
  • Maintain effective communication with applicants, including scheduling regular meetings and providing updates on their application status.
  • Coordinate document transmittals through FEMA's Consolidated Resource Centers using a web-based tool.
  • Schedule site inspections with applicants and Site Inspector Task Force Leaders, identifying when technical expertise is required.
  • Support the claims process by validating damage details, scopes of work, and associated costs with applicants.
  • Participate in regular FEMA meetings providing updates on work status and evaluating claims to recommend eligibility.
  • Assist in the development of Determination Memos and communicate final outcomes to applicants during the closeout process.
  • Conduct exit briefings with applicants to ensure they understand the next steps.
  • Perform other duties as required in a responsive and adaptive manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of in-field experience (2 years with a Bachelor's Degree)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a FEMA Badge, which includes a background investigation for a Public Trust position.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service abilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly while remaining flexible.

Pay Range: $27.30 - $48.30

Driver's License Requirement: An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
