As part of ITW Commercial Construction North America (CCNA), a division that encompasses renowned brands like Buildex®, Red Head, Ramset, and PNA®, you will contribute to the design and manufacture of advanced fastening and concrete flatwork solutions that are essential for countless projects in the construction sector.

Position Overview: The Field Sales Engineer for Concrete Accessories will collaborate closely with the Senior Field Sales Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and support PNA solutions among technical stakeholders, enhancing our position in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with key architectural and engineering firms to advocate for PNA product specifications.

  • Create and implement effective A&E specification programs to maximize value for PNA in targeted markets.

  • Act as the primary technical resource for architects and engineers, providing expert guidance and support.

  • Offer technical assistance to the sales team by interpreting engineering reports, assessing building codes, and demonstrating design equivalency to facilitate project opportunities.

  • Develop marketing materials and tools that inform and influence stakeholders in the industry.

  • Build and manage relationships with select National Account owners/occupiers.

  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of implemented programs.

  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to management and collaborate with teams from Marketing and Engineering on strategy execution.

  • Contribute customer insights to the innovation pipeline.

  • Identify market trends and formulate strategies to enhance specification conversions.

  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required; a Professional Engineer designation is preferred.

  • 4+ years of experience in technical sales is highly valued.

  • Experience with Concrete Flatwork design, specifications, and construction practices is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

  • Adept at reading construction prints and analyzing project specifications.

  • Understanding the decision-making process and influencing multiple stakeholders is critical.

  • Results-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and ensure effective follow-through.

  • Strong presentation abilities are necessary.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and familiarity with CRM tools like D365 Sales or Salesforce.com is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Compensation Information:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000, along with eligibility for an annual incentive plan. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
