Job DescriptionAbout the Role This role requires the coordination of the work of Operator Assistants and Service Operators at the job site during the operation of surface or downhole well logging. This position will be fly in fly out but based at Jandakot, WA Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates the work of Operator Assistants and Service Operators at the job site during the operation surface, during rigging up and rigging down of surface and downhole well logging equipment.
- Completes appropriate documents, reports, and forms that affect the financial results of the business unit.
- Correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment.
- Trains Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the assembly, operation and maintenance of surface and downhole well logging equipment, including electric, nuclear, sonic, other well logging tools and pressure control equipment.
- Trains and provides guidance to Service Operator and Operator Assistants in the proper performance of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports.
- Communicate pre-job and on-the-job progress to customer
- Obtains pertinent service work information from the customer and effectively communicates appropriate information to assigned worksite staff.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
Role Requirements
- Communication skills
- Commercial Driver's license required
- 3+years' experience as Service Supervisor L&PI
- Physical demand requirements are in excess for heavy work
- Successful completion of high school or similar education
