Your Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Technician, you'll have the chance to engage in various rewarding activities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Take charge of installing state-of-the-art food production systems, ensuring seamless operation from day one.
- Maintenance & Support: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly, providing exceptional service to our clients.
- Continuous Learning: Visit our European head office for training on the latest technology and bring innovative ideas back to the team.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work alongside our UK team and international colleagues, sharing insights and knowledge to optimize operations.
- Organization: Manage service reports and travel logistics efficiently to stay organized and on top of your responsibilities.
We're looking for candidates with:
- Experience: A minimum of five years in food production or related fields, with solid experience in service engineering.
- Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical abilities coupled with basic electrical knowledge; familiarity with Siemens PLC controls is a plus.
- Willingness to Travel: Comfort with travel throughout the UK & Ireland, and occasionally to other locations.
- Customer Orientation: A passion for providing excellent service and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to accommodate rare late hours or travel requirements as the job demands.
What We Offer:
Competitive Package: A base salary of £42,000 to £45,000, with the potential to earn £65,000 to £70,000 through overtime.
