In your role as a Fraud Investigations Specialist at the GS-12 level, you will:
- Plan and execute complex investigations, including gathering evidence, engaging in surveillance operations, conducting interviews, and drafting third-party request letters and subpoenas.
- Examine, verify, and analyze essential records, reports, and other relevant data linked to investigations.
- Compile detailed reports of your investigative findings for management review.
At the GS-13 level, you will:
- Independently formulate and carry out all aspects of complex program and grant fraud investigations, including evidence gathering, surveillance operations, interviews, and drafting third-party request letters and subpoenas.
- Analyze and verify significant records, reports, and data related to your investigations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports of your investigative findings for senior investigators' review.
