Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Pay range: $34 - $40 DOE
Position Overview

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling the full cycle of accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on construction-specific accounting processes, including job costing and subcontractor management. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work independently while supporting leadership with timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting (A/P, A/R, general ledger, bank reconciliations)
• Oversee job costing and project tracking
• Prepare and submit progress billings and monitor retainage
• Track subcontractor compliance (insurance, W-9s, lien releases)
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction accounting required
• Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting
• Advance knowledge in Quick Books, Quick Books Pro (skill test required prior to final interview)
• Ability to create new QB Business Account
• Ability to open up chart of accounts
• Ability to enter all data related to account
• Advanced knowledge in Excel
