Job Summary Christian faith-based organization seeking experienced Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Responsibilities:
Perform month-end close.
Prepare and record of journal entries and account reconciliations/ receivable.
Assure accurate and complete month-end reporting.
Prepare financial and management reports.
Create annual operating, capital, and cash budgets during the annual budgeting process.
Prepare accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll calculations and submissions.
Prepare year-end audit schedule.
Support annual audits for internal companies or independent auditors.
Qualifications:
BA degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience, preferred.
5+ years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
Understand bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
