Job Title: Full Time CDL Delivery Driver

Essential Functions:

• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by adhering to Lowe's customer service policies and actively engaging with customers to address their needs.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise, while ensuring their satisfaction with every interaction.
• Communicate clearly with customers about stock, special orders, and warranties related to Lowe's programs.
• Plan deliveries, prepare loading tickets, and execute timely merchandise deliveries to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Inspect products for quality before loading to ensure only the best is delivered to customers.
• Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and compliant with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness and reporting any necessary repairs.
• Detect signs of theft and report any security risks to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Operate necessary store equipment effectively as per the role requirements.
• Accept accountability for additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A or B CDL License with appropriate endorsements based on vehicle types.
• Valid medical certificate or the ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Ability to pass an MVR screening per company regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be at least 21 years old and comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 Year of experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school.
• 6 Months of experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 Months of experience operating a forklift or Moffett for loading and unloading.

Pay Range: $22.90 - $24.70 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on various factors including location, education, training, and experience.
