With recent investments in advanced technology, including integrated P2P and contract management software and a live spend cube for detailed spend analysis, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Procurement. This role offers you the flexibility and autonomy to implement strategies, drive initiatives, and truly make the position your own.
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, negotiation, and contract management specifically for software, SaaS, cloud, and hosting IT sub-categories. You will collaborate with various departments to define and execute purchasing strategies, clarify purchase requirements, identify suitable suppliers, and facilitate supplier selection.
The Procurement Specialist will ensure that all vendor engagements comply with our procurement policies and procedures. You will lead negotiations, extract real value for the business, and work closely with cross-functional teams in alignment with our guidelines.
With Verint's ongoing evolution and the recent merger with Calabrio, you will be crucial in supporting integration activities across our global business. This involves quickly assessing third-party spend, aligning suppliers with Verint's standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to guarantee continuity, compliance, and value realization.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in contractual and commercial negotiations with both new and existing software, SaaS, and service provider vendors.
- Ensure procurement involvement in all major vendor engagements and execute vendor management practices with strategic suppliers.
- Drive savings and added value through proactive negotiations of new agreements and renewals, and benchmark supplier rates and cost models to inform strategic procurement decisions.
- Participate actively in setting, communicating, and implementing business goals and procurement improvements.
- Establish global cooperation and alignment with IT, Finance, Legal, Services, and Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with all global procurement policies and procedures during procurement activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of procurement experience in sourcing software, SaaS, and IaaS, including a solid understanding of software licensing and SaaS terms.
- Highly organized with exceptional time management skills; flexible in managing multiple tasks and unplanned requests under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated personal attributes such as independent work ethic, confidence, integrity, and determination.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively in a cross-functional, complex environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically for business meetings as necessary.
- Successful completion of a background screening process, including employment verification, criminal background checks, and drug screening, as required by applicable laws.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience managing software development and service provider vendors and their expenses.
- A professional procurement qualification is preferred.
- Familiarity with emerging technology related to cloud services and management tools, with the ability to make educated recommendations about pricing and vendor selection.
- Prior experience with a leading technology company.
