Gourmet Taste Creations is expanding across four vibrant product categories, and we're looking for a hands on Assistant Production Manager to help lead our production team and keep daily operations running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys problem solving on the floor, and brings a collaborative, can do attitude to every shift.

What You'll Do

• Support the Production Manager in coordinating daily production schedules across all four brands

• Lead and guide small scale casual production staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently

• Assist with batching, mixing, filling, labelling, and packaging - this is an on the tools leadership role

• Maintain food safe standards, compliance, and production documentation

• Monitor ingredient, packaging, and stock levels to keep workflow smooth and uninterrupted

• Troubleshoot production issues and help implement process improvements

• Work closely with dispatch, warehouse, and admin teams - we operate as a collaborative, all in environment where everyone jumps in to help other departments when needed

• Support training, onboarding, and development of new team members

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production space

What You Bring

• Experience in food or beverage production, manufacturing, or a similar hands on environment

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work efficiently during peak periods and adapt to changing priorities

• Understanding of food safety standards and production compliance

• A proactive, solutions focused mindset

• Reliability, initiative, and pride in doing things properly
