Job Description - Growth Marketer
Echtrai is a boutique advisory firm working with some of the most innovative cannabis companies worldwide. We are seeking an innovative and analytical leader, with a proven track record of scaling e-commerce businesses. Our Growth Marketer will be responsible for the e-commerce practice of the firm. This candidate will be obsessed with data and possess deep expertise in performance marketing and customer acquisition. Growth Marketer will be working with clients in East Coast and West Coast time zones, MSOs, to single dispensaries. You naturally thrive in a scrappy, entrepreneurial, roll up your sleeves and dive in type of start-up environment.
The role is based in San Francisco, CA or San Carlos CA.
What You'll Do:
You will provide a fully turnkey managed growth service to retail-focused cannabis companies in the US
You'll build and execute strategies to deliver online revenue, manage a growth marketing budget, and provide ongoing dashboards & analytics of performance.
Have oversight on vendor market scan, vendor selection, and vendor management. You will manage data models to support customer acquisition and retention programs, leveraging insights to drive conversion, customer engagement, and LTV.
Monitor performance and propose continuous improvements along key metrics such as traffic, conversion, order value, returns, and cancellation.
Produce project reports, analytical reports, and dashboards for companies. Create research reports and benchmarks on behalf of Echtrai for the greater cannabis industry.
What You'll Have:
Desire to build a data-enabled services business
At least five years of relevant experience across all digital marketing, digital commerce, and analytics aspects.
Experience in a start-up. A bootstrapped start-up is a plus.
Advanced knowledge and proven skills in overarching digital marketing strategy, and conversion marketing, including SEO, SEM, social advertising, influencer marketing, conversion optimization, and omnichannel digital campaigns to drive growth.
Strong knowledge of marketing automation, mobile marketing and mobile-centric UX, digital marketing best practices, conception, design, development, deployment, and optimization.
An obsession with data and high accountability for results and KPIs. Ability to interpret and present clear, concise conclusions from complex data and translate them into effective programs across customer segments and channels.
Insanely organized to manage up to (5) client projects at a time
Experience running your projects using project management tools and reporting status updates with clients.
