A leading environmental services organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Hazardous Waste Sales Account Manager to drive business development initiatives in the Chicago area and the surrounding Midwest region. This role concentrates on hazardous waste disposal, contaminated soil remediation, industrial services, medical waste, and compliance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across hazardous waste, industrial, environmental, and medical waste service lines.
- Oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting to successful closure.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients in the industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, municipal, and environmental sectors.
- Spot opportunities involving:
- Hazardous waste disposal
- Contaminated soil transportation & remediation
- Industrial cleaning services
- Medical waste solutions
- Waste profiling and compliance services
- Recycling and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive proposals, pricing structures, service agreements, and customer presentations.
- Collaborate with operations, transportation, and compliance teams to guarantee seamless project implementation.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships within your designated territory.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in hazardous waste, environmental services, industrial services, medical waste, soil remediation, recycling, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of EPA, DOT, RCRA, manifests, profiling, TSDF operations, or environmental compliance preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and account management.
- Experience selling to industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, or municipal accounts is a plus.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Capability to manage multiple sales opportunities and projects simultaneously.
- A valid driver's license is required.
