About the Role
The Company is seeking a dynamic Head of Project Management, focusing on Material Handling and Warehouse Automation. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team of project managers and other key personnel to manage the full project lifecycle, from installation to customer service. Your mission is to ensure the successful delivery of projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
To thrive in this position, you will need at least 10 years of experience in a senior role overseeing the execution of large-scale automation projects, particularly in automated material handling systems, warehouse automation, and third-party logistics (3PL). Your responsibilities will include conducting risk management activities, coordinating resources, both internal and external, and nurturing robust relationships with vendors and clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. This role entails significant travel, ranging from 40% to 70%. We are looking for someone who can cultivate a collaborative team environment, lead productive project-related meetings, and communicate project progress, risks, and profitability effectively to stakeholders, including senior management.
