The Leidos Intel Sector is seeking a dynamic and fully cleared Health and Wellness Specialist to enhance a Federal Intelligence Community customer’s occupational health and wellness program. This role involves promoting physical health and well-being throughout the Federal workforce.

The Health and Wellness Specialist will be based at various Federal sites in Northern Virginia and will be an integral part of a team dedicated to creating, implementing, and leading diverse health, wellness, and fitness initiatives.

A local travel requirement is essential as this position necessitates engaging with clients across the Northern Virginia area. Expenses for mileage will be reimbursed. There is also potential for travel within the Continental United States.

To qualify, candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging health and wellness briefings, workshops, events, and seminars.
• Provide personalized consultations on health and wellness, including setting fitness goals and developing customized fitness programs.
• Enhance participants’ knowledge of exercise science, body alignment, and fitness safety.
• Assist in the management and evaluation of fitness programs and resources.
• Perform administrative duties, such as overseeing fitness facilities and evaluating equipment.
• Participate in meetings and prepare weekly activity reports.
• Substitute for the primary instructor when necessary for group exercise classes.

Basic Qualifications

• Possess an active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• Hold an active personal training certification from an accredited body such as:
• American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
• American Council on Exercise (ACE)
• National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
• National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
• Other equivalent national certifications may be considered.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a health fitness specialist or exercise physiologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
• Certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS).
• Availability to work during hours from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Pay Range: Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
