POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Alyfe Wellbeing Strategies is seeking Health Screening Specialists in Allen County, Ohio and surrounding areas. Our health screening events are provided in the corporate setting by highly skilled, team-oriented professionals. Alyfe is looking for experienced health screeners to work on a contracted/per diem basis and who share our passion and commitment in providing health and wellness services to our clients, who provide health screenings. Health Screeners do not have guaranteed hours but have the option of requesting and creating their schedule based on their surrounding service area.

Health Screening events are typically scheduled Monday through Friday with variable hours.

Orientation to Alyfe policies and procedures as well as training for health screenings services is provided.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the registration/check-in process, explain and ensure completion of all necessary paperwork
Perform health screenings - (Lipid profile, glucose, A1C) via finger sticks and using the Alyfe testing equipment)
Perform a height, weight, BMI, waist circumference measurement using the Alyfe testing equipment
Perform manual blood pressures
Observes and supports Alyfe policies
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and always remain professional
Have at least a minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in providing health screening services
Works well independently and as part of a team, while maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
Possess a professional and clean appearance, excellent customer service skills, proven track record of reliability and punctuality
Demonstrate best practice standards of care with professionalism and compassion
Maintains the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting
Knowledgeable in performing finger stick blood draw, blood pressure, body composition analysis, and basic health coaching
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
All contractors must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and present acceptable documentation of immunity status via their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or must present a signed medical and/or religious waiver as provided by Alyfe Wellbeing Strategies. Based on client requirements, waivers may or may not be accepted for certain screening events.
Bachelor's degree in a medical, health, or fitness related field; or
A nursing degree, EMT/Paramedic, Medical Assistant and/or Phlebotomist with appropriate current certification and/or licensure in the state of practice
Registered Dietitian
All allied health professionals
Should hold current certification in the state of practice; or be a CMA, RN, LVN, EMT, LPN, Patient Care Tech or the equivalent with the appropriate current certifications/licensure in the state of practice. Must provide copies of relevant certifications/ licenses
