Hospitalist Needed in Altoona PA or Seneca,PA- Interviewing NOW!!! J1 Accepted!!

We are seeking a Hospitalist in Altoona, PA to provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients; order diagnostic tests, interpret the results, order appropriate interventions, therapies, medications, and other treatment modalities, and establish preventive health practices for patients; primary admitter for Med call transfers; and responsible for 95% of all unassigned patients admitted to the hospital. Provide direction to APPs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients;
• Order diagnostic tests, interpret the results, order appropriate interventions, therapies, medications, and other treatment modalities, and establish preventive health practices for patients;
• Primary admitter for Med call transfers;
• Responsible for 95% of all unassigned patients admitted to the hospital.
• Provide direction to APPs.

Qualifications:

Must have a Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) or equivalent;

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Must be Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
