Job Summary and Qualifications
As the House Supervisor Registered Nurse, you will assist in providing supplemental nursing staff to inpatient and other areas. Collaborate with various hospital departments to ensure timely and appropriate patient placements. Support staff in acquiring necessary supplies and equipment, and navigate the chain of command to address departmental or facility issues. You will also respond to emergencies on campus and implement emergency protocols effectively. Your role involves interacting with patients, families, staff, and physicians to resolve concerns promptly, while prioritizing exceptional customer service aligned with our hospital's mission, vision, and goals.
Qualifications include:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 1 year of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 30 days of employment
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 90 days of employment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Two years of management or supervisory experience
- Two years of experience in ICU and/or ED as a Registered Nurse
