Intake Coordinator - Bachelor's Degree (nights & weekends required)

The position will provide comprehensive outpatient admission assessment (intake) and treatment planning/coordination services for persons affected by behavioral and/or substance abuse disorder. Priority is to serve high-risk client population(s) including, but not necessarily limited to, those affected by persistent or acute suicidal/homicidal ideation, and/or significant history of substance use issues, and/or psychotic symptoms.

Work with any clients in crisis situations, evaluate risk and initiate appropriate response to promote client safety.
Complete CSSRS or other crisis tools and link to or provide necessary services that may include, but are not limited to, IPU admission, crisis planning, referral.
Complete mental health and substance use evaluations for IPU discharged clients, high risk clients, critical care clients, and clients referred from psychiatric inpatient facilities outside Bowen Center, and other clients as needed and link them to necessary services.
Provide 100 hours of direct services per month within CSO-approved clinical scope of practice and complete required documentation of services rendered.
Maintain CEUs required for continued license/certification.
Maintain credentials with all applicable managed care contracts by completing the necessary paperwork and returning it on a timely basis.

This position requires evening/night and weekend rotation.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Prefer two (2) years behavioral health experience
Valid driver's license and active liability insurance.
Satisfactory results from criminal background check.
