Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Join UCHealth as an ICU Nurse at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Neuro ICU, providing exceptional care to critically ill patients.

Position Details:

• FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
• Shift: Day and Night Rotation
• Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour, based on relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for sixty days of hire.

ICU Focus:

• Deliver direct care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a technically complex environment.
• Implement AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards in evidence-based care models for the ICU.
• Receive support from Clinical Educators for individualized specialty education and competency validation throughout orientation.
