The Investment Management Portfolio Lead is instrumental in enhancing business, investment, and strategic performance within our Venture and Joint Venture portfolio. This high-visibility role requires a diverse skill set in financial and strategic analysis, project management, executive communication, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee portfolio reporting operations and ensure timely completion of quarterly portfolio reviews alongside the Director of Investment Management.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to fulfill shareholder responsibilities related to portfolio transactions, such as follow-on investments, IPOs, and exits.
- Prepare comprehensive portfolio updates for senior management and relevant business partners.
- Facilitate coordination among Finance, Legal, and Business Unit partners to achieve portfolio management objectives.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in portfolio operations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of portfolio management tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
- Knowledge of fundamental financial and accounting principles.
- Experience in building and evaluating financial models.
- A genuine passion for improving consumer experiences within an organization.
- Interest in the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Experience with a top consultancy, investment banking, or investment management firm.
This position allows for remote flexibility for top talent, with preferred locations in Louisville, KY; Washington, DC; NYC, NY; or Chicago, IL.
Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range: The compensation range for this position reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting, which may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications. $114,400 - $157,300 per year, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
