IS Contract Manager (Healthcare / Information Services)

We are seeking an experienced IS Contract Manager to support a leading healthcare organization's Information Services (IS) team. This role is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, with a strong focus on risk mitigation, contract negotiation, and vendor management across IT and healthcare-related agreements.

This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with organizational standards, mitigate risk, and support ongoing IS initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including redlining terms and conditions in alignment with internal playbooks and risk guidelines
• Evaluate and negotiate contractual risk clauses (e.g., liability, indemnification, data protection), with a focus on risk mitigation-not just cost savings
• Support vendor and contract management activities across IS programs and initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contracts meet operational, legal, and compliance requirements
• Manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously, adapting to shifting departmental needs
• Serve as a key point of contact for contract-related inquiries and escalations

Required qualifications include:

• Previous experience in a Contract Manager or Contracts Specialist role
• Strong experience redlining and negotiating contracts, particularly master terms and conditions
• Proven ability to assess and mitigate contractual risk (beyond pricing/cost-focused negotiations)
• Experience working in a lab or operating room (OR) environment from a contract management perspective
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Highly adaptable and able to pivot between projects in a dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2+ years of experience supporting Information Services (IS) or IT-related contracts
• Experience working with Oracle ERP systems, particularly in contract management workflows
• Healthcare industry experience, especially related to contracting within clinical, lab, or OR settings

Work environment:

• Hybrid: Candidates located near Middleton, WI will be expected to attend occasional onsite meetings
• Remote: Fully remote option available for out-of-state candidates
• Equipment provided
