Job Opening: K 12 Literacy Coach
Belle Fourche School District is seeking a K 12 Literacy Coach to support implementation of the District Literacy Framework and evidence-based, science-of-reading practices. The coach will collaborate with staff, guide professional learning, analyze literacy data, and help align instruction with district literacy goals. Preferred qualifications include a valid teaching certificate, a literacy/reading or leadership credential, strong knowledge of the science of reading, and literacy-focused teaching experience. This position is funded with CLSD (ELA-SD) grant funds, requires approximately 175 days of work between September 1, 2026 and August 30, 2027, and offers a salary TBD based on qualifications. *This is a one-year position dependent on ELA-SD grant continuation funds.
