Job Description

As a Land Development Project Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing land development projects for our clients. Your primary focus will be managing multiple projects while ensuring exceptional client service. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and developing projects, fostering client relationships, and guiding project engineers and designers in completing engineering tasks. A strong design background in site development is essential. Additionally, experience in business development and basic accounting functions, such as invoicing, is required.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Independently manage multiple projects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Oversee all project management functions including reporting and client invoice approvals.
  • Forecast future workload, staffing needs, and project budgets.
  • Contribute to strategic marketing initiatives and proposal generation.
  • Mentor and develop a team of skilled engineers and designers.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in land development design techniques.
  • Be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Coordinate with team members, project consultants, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • P.E. certification is a must.
  • Willingness to conduct site visits as required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing site development projects and performing hands-on design work.
  • Construction Administration experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in a consulting environment and project delivery.
  • Local market experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience in both single-family and multi-family residential development is preferred.
