The Leidos Mission Solutions Business Area Office of Technology (OOT) under the INTEL SECTOR is searching for a talented Lead Artificial Intelligence Strategist.

Position Summary
The AI Lead will be instrumental in shaping the AI strategy across the Mission Solutions Business Area. This role involves defining and accelerating the execution of AI initiatives that enhance intelligence practices, streamline software delivery, and deliver advanced cyber and multi-INT capabilities swiftly and effectively.

As the AI strategist, you will work closely with the Business Area Chief Technology Officer (CTO), solution architects, and growth leaders to integrate AI into various programs and initiatives. Your expertise will showcase our capabilities to current and potential clients, proving how we can leverage AI to tackle complex challenges.

This position is pivotal as it transforms innovative AI technologies into practical solutions, thereby influencing strategy and enhancing Leidos's competitive edge in the market.

The position will report directly to the CTO for the Mission Solutions Business Area.

Primary Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the BA CTO to formulate and implement AI strategies that align with growth objectives and customer missions.
• Propel the adoption of emerging AI technologies such as Generative AI and AI-assisted operations.
• Ensure AI capabilities align with mission requirements across various platforms, including intelligence production, cyber operations, and software automation.
• Partner with architects and growth leaders to incorporate AI solutions into proposals and captures, showcasing our proactive capabilities.
• Implement an AI Governance Framework to ensure secure and reliable deployment in sensitive environments.
• Foster a community of AI practitioners, ensuring proficiency across teams and shared resources.
• Support high-priority captures by refining AI-driven proposals and partnering with customers to establish their requirements.

Basic Qualifications
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related field with 15+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience).
• Proven expertise (minimum of 15 years) in AI/ML and software engineering.
• Experience operationalizing AI in sensitive environments.
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing, multi-agent systems, and sentiment analysis.
• Background in AI applications for cyber operations and advanced analytics.
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs to enhance analytics.
• Adept in leading AI solution development for proposals.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications
• Strong strategic mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community clientele.
• 5+ years of experience with U.S. Intelligence Community or DoD clients.
• Proven history of modernizing workflows with AI techniques.
