About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Counsel to join our dynamic legal team, focusing on procurement contracts. You will play a critical role in supporting our internal clients in supplier contracts, disputes, and compliance matters. This position demands a skilled attorney who excels in drafting and negotiating complex procurement contracts, particularly in a multi-national technology and information analytics context.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with global procurement, human resources, government affairs, and various corporate function teams. A strong understanding of data privacy laws and supplier compliance processes is essential. Candidates should possess a distinguished academic record, hold a law degree from a reputable institution, and have a proven background in procurement and technology law, ideally within a corporate law department or for multi-national corporations. IAPP certification is a plus.
This role requires exceptional communication, contract drafting, and negotiation skills. You will need to provide timely, practical legal advice and effectively manage conflicts while influencing stakeholders across a diverse global organization. You will also supervise supplier-related disputes, coordinate with specialized counsel, and support enterprise technology-focused procurement counsel as needed. Independence, ownership of issues, and problem-solving in alignment with sound business practices are vital in this role.
