Role Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Leadership: Design, implement, and curate a dynamic, welcoming environment where children can thrive.
  2. Curriculum Implementation: Skillfully deliver our proprietary L.E.A.P. CurriculumĀ®, tailoring your approach to each child's needs.
  3. Safety First: Ensure a safe, nurturing space that allows children to flourish.
  4. Family Communication: Keep parents informed on their child's progress through mobile apps and personal discussions.
  5. Center Collaboration: Work as part of a team, collaborating with staff to enhance retention, enrollment, and engagement.
  6. Relationship Builder: Nurture strong connections with families and colleagues to foster an enriching learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Must meet state-specific guidelines for this role. High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in childcare with a strong history of leadership in the classroom; passion for early childhood education is vital.
  • State Compliance: Must meet state and federal guidelines regarding performance criteria and health requirements.
  • Caregiving Skills:
    • Ability to identify and mitigate risks in a childcare setting.
    • Ensure children's safety and attend to their daily needs, including diapering and grooming.
    • Encourage good social skills and model effective communication.
    • Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
    • Maintain professionalism and composure at all times.
  • Physical Resilience:
    • Ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting (up to 40 pounds), and using a stool or ladder.
    • Must be able to work outdoors in a range of temperatures.
    • Exhibit mental alertness and the energy needed to perform essential job functions.
