In this role, you will...
Lead cross-functional software engineering teams that create comprehensive software products from initial concept to deployment, serving millions of drivers globally.
Foster the growth of your software engineers through performance feedback, mentoring, and development opportunities.
Collaborate closely with partners in the software development triad (Digital Product + Digital Design) to prioritize customer-focused, high-quality feature delivery.
Play an active role in assessing product designs and architectures, providing valuable feedback with a software engineering perspective.
Continuously seek ways to enhance the engineering delivery pipeline, reducing cycle times while boosting quality and security.
Apply advanced engineering concepts to develop innovative solutions for complex business challenges.
Establish and advocate for new engineering principles and practices aimed at organizational enhancement.
Provide leadership and share insights across various teams to break down knowledge silos.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement to build a learning organization.
Evaluate and advocate for new and emerging technologies and products.
You'll need...
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
Over 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience in mobile applications.
At least 5 years in a leadership role managing people and multiple teams while successfully delivering software products to market.
A minimum of 5 years building large-scale consumer-facing applications.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in influencing stakeholders and presenting to executive leadership.

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in developing enterprise-scale mobile applications catering to a large user base.
Proven ability to manage technical design and delivery dependencies across large-scale, complex programs.
Extensive background in creating architectures for reactive, distributed, secure, and performant service-oriented systems.
Prior experience in designing, developing, and supporting global software products.
Demonstrated expertise in software operations including Source Management, Continuous Integration/Deployment, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering.

This position is at leadership level 5, with salary ranging from $141,700 to $268,300 (California residents: $167,200 to $316,600). Salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and job scope.
