At Daybreak Health, we strongly believe that it is crucial for every young individual to have access to the mental health resources necessary to lead a fulfilling life. Our goal is to enable young people to take control of their mental well-being by offering them the necessary tools and assistance to tackle their mental health challenges. Our mission is to turn this into a reality and enhance the lives of youth all around the country. We provide 1:1 evidence-based virtual therapy with licensed clinicians to kids ages 10-19. We do this primarily by partnering with school districts to provide free, accessible mental health care to all kids.

In these trying times, children require your attention and guidance more than ever before. That's why therapists are in such high demand and short supply. But, that doesn't stop us from attracting the best, most qualified clinical team.

Our goal is to establish an exceptional workplace for clinicians.

Our top priority is to establish an exceptional work environment for our clinical staff. We continually gather feedback from our clinicians via pulse surveys and assess how we can turn their feedback into action. Here's how we are co-creating the best clinical experience possible:

At our core, we are dedicated to providing top-tier clinical excellence. We provide paid one-on-one clinical supervision and ongoing collaboration with other clinical team members.
Our unwavering focus is on DEIB. It's crucial for children to have therapy sessions with therapists whom they can connect with in order to achieve positive results. At Daybreak, we strive to ensure that our students are paired with therapists who best suit their needs, including cultural background, language proficiency, and personal preferences. Through this method, we aim to provide the most effective and personalized therapeutic experiences possible. That's why 74% of Daybreak clinicians identify as BIPOC, 14% identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and they speak 7 different languages.
You can count on us to be deeply committed to your success. We offer paid clinical trainings, free credentialing with major health plans, CEU Credit, and an opportunity for Daybreak to cover your cross-licensure costs.
At our company, we strive to provide a hassle-free experience. It doesn't matter where you live or where else you may work. Daybreak gives you the opportunity to see additional clients when and where you want while earning extra income. We take care of the arduous administrative work-including billing and payments-that comes with running a private practice and give you the easy-to-use, HIPPA-compliant, and secure tools to meet with your clients. And, you won't need to worry about reimbursements from the insurance carriers-we pay you every two weeks!
We strongly believe in transparency and ensuring that our clients are fully informed every step of the way. This is just who we are, it's part of our ethos.

But, enough about us, let's talk about you!

Are you passionate about joining the effort to solve the most defining issue of our generation?
Have you ever considered how incredible it would be for your skills and expertise to benefit kids from all backgrounds, regardless of their location, socioeconomic status, race, or insurance coverage? It's truly inspiring to think about the impact we could have on the world by making mental health care more accessible for all.

We are looking for qualified, licensed clinicians to conduct intake sessions with students, ages 10-19, in Oregon. You will conduct intake sessions and documentation in a timely manner. You must ensure that charting and documentation comply with agency, billing, and legal standards. You will set your own schedule but we do ask that you attend a monthly staff meeting and a monthly clinical meeting.

Preferred Qualifications:

To be eligible for the position, it is required that the applicant holds a valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist issued by the state of Oregon.
Have more than 2 years of experience working closely with youth, whether it be as a school counselor, in community-based programs, running therapeutic groups, or even within a private practice setting.
Experience in working with diverse client populations and willingness to work with family dynamics.
Have a current malpractice liability insurance policy.
Comfort delivering telehealth services through our EHR platform via Zoom (voice, video, text messaging).
Reliable internet connection.
