Role Overview
Join our team as a Logistics Coordinator for Data Center Facilities, where you will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, tools, equipment, and parts crucial for safe and effective site operations. You will manage inventory accuracy, coordinate shipments, and execute logistics that directly support maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements critical to our data center operations.
- Maintain precise inventory records for essential spare parts, tools, consumables, and equipment.
- Coordinate the staging, storage, and distribution of materials to support preventive maintenance, repairs, and project execution.
- Collaborate with site operations, vendors, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials and resolve logistics challenges.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and escalate reordering needs for essential business items.
- Ensure that storage areas remain organized, secure, and ready for audits.
- Support shipping, receiving, asset tracking, documentation, and chain-of-custody processes in line with site standards.
- Uphold compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures concerning material handling and logistics.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or material coordination in a technical or mission-critical setting.
- A keen attention to detail with a proven history of maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.
- The ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in supporting critical infrastructure, facilities, or data center operations is a plus.
