Looking for a Carer/Nanny for a 5 year old Boy with Autism.

I am looking for a Carer/Nanny for my son who is 5. He has a diagnosis of Autism and PICA disorder. My son is non-verbal and communicates by hand guiding. He has very minimal understanding and cannot follow verbal prompts- he has no danger awareness and needs watching at all times due to the choking hazards that come with PICA. He is a flight risk and will run off if not secured in a pushchair.

I am looking for somebody to support my son in mornings before school and for an hour or two after school. This will include- getting my son ready for school and preparing breakfast. Personal care. After school- support will include personal care, playing and preparing food for my son.

My son gets to and from school via transport from his own home in Colne, Lancashire.

He is a very happy little boy who is always full of smiles, he loves to play and is very active and on the go at all times.

Experience working with young children with Autism is a MUST, and knowledge of PICA is preferred. DBS certificate required.
