POSITION SUMMARY

The MAC Specialty Makeup Artist plays a key role in driving sales for the MAC brand by providing personalized service to our guests. Your artistry will shine as you engage customers, assist with product selections, and ensure that our store maintains an inviting atmosphere. You'll be a representative of both Ulta Beauty and MAC, striving to enhance customer experiences and meet sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve MAC sales goals and contribute to store objectives.
• Build and nurture customer relationships by actively engaging with guests and following up on inquiries.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized interactions and product recommendations.
• Perform professional caliber makeup applications, lessons, and skincare analyses in alignment with brand standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to better assist our guests.
• Promote and manage in-store events and appointments to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to drive business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma preferred; cosmetology or demonstrator license required by state law.
• Experience in cosmetics artistry is a plus.

SKILLS

• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Able to establish meaningful customer connections.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Frequent mobility, standing, and lifting during shifts.
