KPMG is seeking a talented Manager for our Functional Tax Operations within the National Tax organization. This role is crucial for driving our operational success and supporting our strategic objectives.
- Analyze and interpret Tax metrics to ensure alignment with business and talent goals, focusing on strategic and tactical operational changes.
- Collaborate with Tax stakeholders to execute projects effectively, engaging in requirement gathering, monitoring progress, and producing informative reports and presentations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of coordinated tactical action plans that enhance the infrastructure and operational functions supporting the national tax practice, specifically focusing on key reporting products.
- Generate practice communications, prepare agendas, and create materials for practice meetings; actively participate in meetings while overseeing action items and ongoing business operations.
- Engage in practice-wide and national strategic initiatives; contribute to cross-functional and national tax task forces and work streams as opportunities arise.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience in business-related fields such as finance, accounting, resource management, or general business operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data tools and reporting platforms, including SAP/HANA, Alteryx, and EDW.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and provide strategic guidance to executive-level management across various practice operational areas.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and negotiating skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
