We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management contract on a day shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking a stable Monday Friday role within a professional and supportive environment.

The Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial site, ensuring all mechanical systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment

• Maintaining HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and pipework

• Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues

• Completing minor installation and remedial works

• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations

• Updating maintenance records via CAFM systems

• Supporting site projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What We re Looking For

• Recognised Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)

• Previous experience within commercial building services or FM

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems

• Good understanding of compliance and safe systems of work

• Professional, reliable and client-focused approach
