We are currently seeking the right candidates to join our team as a Med Tech! Base Wage is $21/hr, with $1 shift differential for Swing shift and $2 shift differential for NOC shift Day shift 6:00 am to 2:15 pm Evening shift: 2:00 pm to 10:15 pm NOC Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:15 am Available Shifts Full-Time and Part-Time for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Weekend differentials of $1.00 per hour We offer career pathing and training to qualified Health Services team members wishing to begin a career in Nursing or Healthcare Administration. As a Med Tech with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members. Your responsibilities in this role will include: • Dispensing and recording medications in the eMAR software system • Giving oral medications and/or applying topical ointments as prescribed • Assisting with resident care as able throughout your shift • Build relationships with the amazing people who live and work in our community The ideal candidate will: • Have a commitment to Touchmark's values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent • Have one year of experience working as a Med Tech, or have completed a state-certified Certified Medication Aide (CMA) course • Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment • Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friend's Approach to dementia care • Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors Benefits: Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
