Media Specialist/Tradeshow Lead

Scope of Position:

The Media Specialist will work alongside the Marketing Manager to coordinate and create photography, videography, and other marketing materials for All-Fill's line of packaging machinery. These materials will be sent to existing customers and used to promote the company through a variety of mediums. They will also be the primary lead for All Fill Tradeshow organization and implementation.

A curious nature or an interest in engineering, mechanics and electronics is a plus. Our work environment is creative and collaborative, but also fast paced and demanding. Your portfolio should include examples of video filming, video editing, animation with brands and typography. Experience with trade show or event planning a plus. This is an in-office position and is not a hybrid, or work from home opportunity.


Principal Media Responsibilities:

  • Film and edit videos of packaging machines running.
  • Present creative and innovative ways to film and photograph machinery.
  • Assist in other marketing content creation for site, machine manuals and work toward improving overall customer experience.
  • Take professional level photos of machines and have the ability to manipulate and edit efficiently.
  • Communicate with the Sales and Assembly departments to schedule photos and videos of machines prior to shipping.
  • Create branded animations and graphics to enhance the quality of the videos.
  • Look for new and innovative ways to create compelling content for company marketing.
  • Help develop modern technologies for company trade show events.
  • Assist in documenting company events.


Principal Tradeshow Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Show
  • Communicate effectively with Ownership, Sales, Operations, Engineering and Assembly departments to ensure all departments know exactly what is required of them.
  • Ensure proper air/power/carpet requirements are accounted for.
  • Work with Operations to create a shipping truck layout.
  • Show Execution:
  • As the onsite Lead you will communicate and execute booth setup.
  • Monitoring the progress of all trucks show crates.
  • Participate in and delegate booth checks.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with management to facilitate last minute changes or updates.
  • Ensure all resources necessary are provided for the move out.
  • Post Show:
  • Recap with the Ops Team on Staffing, Labor, and Product successes or issues.
  • Maintain show equipment inventory upon return and ensure is organized and ready for next show.


Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert file management skills and highly organized, Experience working with project management software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of company products and services.
  • Experience working in a customer/client facing role.
  • Ability and willingness to assist with assembly of tradeshow equipment.
  • Willingness and interest in traveling 25% of the year.

  • Expert knowledge Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier & After Effects.

  • Supervisory Responsibility: There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.


    Work Environment: This position takes place within a manufacturing facility. The job requires the manager to work mostly within the office environment, but also out on the manufacturing floor, therefore subject to the elements of the shop floor such as noise from machinery used.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m.


    Travel: There is travel required with this position. The Media Specialist/Tradeshow Lead will be required to travel domestically to various trade shows.


    Education and Experience:

    • Associate Degree or Bachelor's degree in Media, Videography or related field.
    • 2-4 years' experience required for consideration.
