Position: Medical Assistant
Pay range: Starting at $18.00/hour
Reports to: Clinic Manager
Shifts: Full Time- Three 11-hour shifts/week, weekend availability is required.

Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination, screens, collects vital signs and enters them into the EMR, instructs patients in collection of samples and/or tests.
Performs designated clinical duties as delegated by Clinic Manager or Physician to include injections, instillations, catheter changes, etc.
Responsible for injections, phlebotomy, setting up and assisting with procedures, nebulizers, and EKGs.
Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness.
Front Desk Administrative duties such as answering phones, checks in/checks out patients, and processes referrals when needed.
Conducts Occupational Medicine testing including audio testing, pulmonary function testing, respirator, fit testing, physical capacity exams, Department of Transportation (DOT) exams, Federal Aviation exams, etc.
Performs any other duties that assist in the operations of the office.
What you'll bring to the role:
High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Life Support Certification (CPR & AED)
Knowledge of basic medical procedures
Ability to accurately measure blood pressure and vitals signs
Phlebotomy/Injections
Experience using electronic medical records software
Ability to follow established protocols
