Medical Assistant, Montrose Family Practice ($2,500 Retention)

Medical assistants are responsible for providing physician support and ensuring the facility is running smoothly. This support is offered through many varied administrative tasks such as patient scheduling, assisting with referrals and authorizations, answering phones, filing, documenting, scanning, and faxing. Medical assistants also perform a variety of clinical duties such as preparing exam rooms, collecting patient vitals and specimens, assisting in minor surgical procedure injections, and other routine tasks as assigned.

MA certification or registration within 90 days of hire required.

Hours: M-F 8:00 to 5:00 PM

Experience
Required
One (1) year related medical office experience; or 160-hour externship completed within the last five years in a medical/office setting.
Education
Required
Diploma or better in Medical Assisting
