Medical Assistant

We are a busy & growing practice looking for an energetic person that likes talking with people to use all their skills in a fun, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone who works well with others, and enjoys a dynamic environment. This is a long-term/permanent position and we value those candidates who have maintained tenure in previous positions. We cross train all staff for maximum flexibility.

This role will be on a Full-Time work schedule. Open only M-F. No weekends! Involves local traveling to satellite offices (transportation & travel compensation provided). Daily work functions include both front office & back office duties, so experience with both is a plus.

This is a specialty practice focusing on sleep apnea and fixed/removable devices- one of the fastest growing medical specialties! We will provide training, but prefer at least 3 years of experience in a medical setting. Candidates with EITHER dental assisting or medical assisting experience will be considered.

Seeking the following applicant:

3+ years of experience in a medical or dental setting preferred
Caring & Honest, likes to work in a team environment
Fast learner with a knowledge of computers (Paperless Office)
Must have driver's license, and be able to travel to local satellite offices when needed (6-8 days/month)

Direct patient interaction

Greet/Seat Patients

Room Setup

Charting (electronic)

Patient Follow Up

Answering Multi-line Phones + Admin (when needed)

Computer use and running reports with Google, Microsoft Office (will train)
