CHILD and FAMILY LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Personal stability, flexibility, energy, and commitment to working effectively and respectfully with clients and colleagues.
- Current licensed mental health professional. Must possess a Maryland license of LMSW; LCSW; LGPC; LCPC.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a teamwork environment.
- Highly developed organizational and communication skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
DUTIES :
- Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
- Take part in all agency training programs as requested.
- Maintain a high quality of treatment at Lower Shore Clinic using evidenced based practices.
- Plan and carry out appropriate child, family, and group courses of treatment relative to the needs of the patient.
- Complete all regulatory documentation of client treatment.
- Coordinate care with other professionals working with client, both at the Lower Shore Clinic and, with client permission, outside agencies.
- Acquire and maintain appropriate clinical licensure, practice within scope of licensure as directed by Maryland COMAR and appropriate Board of Licensure.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Authority:
Position reports to the Director of Outpatient Services, who provides administrative and clinical supervision. Schedules, assignments, and evaluations will be provided by same.
Classification, Salary, and Benefits:
Regular, full time; exempt from overtime; salary arranged by letter of appointment.
