CAP is seeking a Mental Health Counselor in our Early Childhood Program. The Early Childhood Mental Health Counselor provides mental health support to the CAP Early Childhood Program in identifying and securing the needed support for enrolled children, families, and staff.

Must possess a Master's degree in social work, Counseling, or related degree with a clinical license preferred. (LMHC, LCSW, LPCMH or LMFT). Experience with child behavioral and mental health concerns. Knowledge and understanding of mental health of children 0-5 years old, with preference given to individuals with experience working in collaboration with early education teams to provide mental health support. Must have computer experience and be proficient in Microsoft Word. Must have good administrative, organizational and communication skills (listening and speaking). Must have reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license.

This is a full-time, 10-month non-exempt position starting in August of 2023, scheduled 37.5 hrs/wk, 43 wks/yr. The pay rate is $55,000-65,000 annually.
