Mountains of NC - Hospitalist needs - $30k sign on bonus

Salary of $216,000.00 plus a $30k sign on bonus and comprehensive benefits. This is an excellent medical center (non profit). A 90-bed facility that has a full compliment of specialists and primary care providers. The hospitalists oversee 75% of the inpatient census on the med surg floor, the IMCU and the ICU (10-beds). We are looking to grow our program from 6 to 8 physicians.
The incoming hospitalist will need to practice quality patient care while working in a team oriented environment. The schedule is 7 on / 7 off with 3 physicians working during the day and 1 on at night. The average patient encounters during the day will be between 14-17 per physician, and 4-6 encounters during the night shift.
