• Board certified / board eligible in neonatology

About the hospital:

• 51-bed, Level-III NICU
• Average daily census of 39 neonates and nearly 940 admissions per year
• 6 neonatologists and 8 NNPs
• Dedicated infant transport team serving a 55-county area
• Strong MFM program and new MFM Fellowship; good relationships with OBs and MAHEC OB/GYN Residency
• It is the region s only children s hospital covering western North Carolina with 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 different disciplines
• An average of 3,000 patient admissions to our pediatric inpatient units, including 19-bed pediatric unit, 9-bed PICU, 51-bed level III neonatology unit
• Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries, and 14,000 pediatric visits to our emergency department per year
