Nights Clinical Nurse I: Labor & Delivery

Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and document procedures in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions effectively.
• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Deliver primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Guide ancillary personnel and ensure adherence to professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Understanding of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques.
