Pay range: Up to $75/hour! We are flexible in discussing compensation, considering individual circumstances and open to negotiations on a case-by-case basis.
As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technologist, you will leverage your exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort. Your attention to detail and technical expertise are essential in producing the highest-quality PET/CT images/studies, enabling accurate diagnoses and confident treatments for our patients. With opportunities to work in various settings including outpatient centers, mobile units, and hospitals, your flexibility will help us deliver outstanding imaging care wherever it's needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and following aseptic injection techniques while adhering to radiation safety regulations.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
- Train new technologists and personnel.
- Troubleshoot scanners, mobile units, and peripheral equipment.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
- State license as required.
- CPR certification required.
- Valid state driver's license as applicable.
- 1-2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures preferred.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Local travel may be required.

Physical Requirements:
Employees may be exposed to outside weather conditions during patient transport on mobile units and may encounter radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
- More than 50% of the time: Sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements of hands, arms, and legs.
- Less than 50% of the time: Stoop, kneel, climb, and lift non-ambulatory patients.
