This position involves supervising and delivering direct patient care, working collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will evaluate nursing interventions, coordinate care, and support staff in both patient assessment and care management. Together with leadership, you will also identify staff strengths, facilitate professional development, and enhance team performance.
Education Requirements:
- Required: Registered nurse diploma.
- Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Experience:
- Required: 1 year of relevant experience as a registered nurse or 2 years as an LPN in an acute care setting.
- Preferred: 2 years of relevant experience as a registered nurse.
Certifications:
- Required: Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care for critically ill or injured patients.
- Assess risks and benefits of treatments and deliver life-saving care in emergencies.
- Organize, supervise, and coordinate patient care within the unit.
- Manage, develop, and evaluate nursing staff and technicians.
- Promote evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
- Handle conflict resolution on shifts and coordinate with leadership as needed.
- Collaborate with quality, safety, and experience leadership to enhance patient care.
- Support daily operations by ensuring adequate staffing and resources.
- Adapt care approaches according to the unique needs of the patient population.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support unit operations.
