OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST PRN
In this position, you will utilize your full range of knowledge, skills, and experience to inspire patient progress daily by:
- Effectively delegating tasks and supervising occupational therapist assistants and technicians.
- Providing occupational therapy treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations, as well as professional guidelines.
- Maintaining open communication with hospital departments to meet the needs of patients, staff, and the institution.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or certification prior to the first day of employment is required.
- CPR certification is preferred unless stated otherwise by hospital policy.
- Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or one evaluated as substantially equivalent by an appropriate certifying agency is preferred.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and caregivers are essential.
- Demonstrable competence in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
