POSITION: OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SPECIALIST
Shifts: Full-Time (Monday - Friday), Part-Time (Tuesday - Friday)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to fully utilize your knowledge and skills to inspire daily progress in our patients:
- Delegate tasks and supervise occupational therapy assistants and technicians effectively.
- Deliver occupational therapy treatment and care in accordance with hospital, state, federal regulations, and professional guidelines.
- Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure the needs of patients, staff, and the hospital are met.
Credentials:
- Current state licensure or certification required by the first day of employment.
- CPR certification preferred, unless hospital policy dictates otherwise.
- Successful completion of an accredited therapy program or equivalent program recognized by a certifying agency.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and caregivers are essential.
- Proven competencies in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
